The Hurricanes leading scorer for the past two seasons, Wil Rene, has graduated, however the team is excited to return four starters. For the past two seasons, the Hurricanes played with an underclassman dominant roster but is now led by juniors and seniors. With age and experience under Coach Park the team is looking to achieve their first winning season since 2021.
Coach Park is entering his third year as Bishop McLaughlin’s Head Coach. He is a Tampa native who played high school basketball at Cambridge Christian where he won 3 District Championships. He then went on to play college basketball for Berry College. The year before Coach Park arrived, the Hurricanes only won three games. In the first two seasons as the Hurricanes Head Coach, he has led the Hurricanes to a complete turnaround with a young roster.
