Despite losing 5 girls to graduation and transfers, the Lady Canes look to return strong led by senior Sammy Banner and Junior Roxy Moore. They also return senior Therese Sannuto, juniors Sabrina Demarco and Abby Arevalo and sophomore Crista Panzner from last year’s core group. The Hurricanes were fortunate to add Sophomore Mackenzie Graf, a transfer from Hernando Christian as well as incoming Freshman Gabbi Figuero. They hope to improve their record from last year and advance to district semifinals and beyond this season.
Liz is originally from Michigan and spent her life playing competitive sports. She played volleyball as her main sport through high school including 4 years of college at Great Lakes Christian College. For two years she was the Strength and Conditioning Coach and assistant volleyball coach for Olivet College in Michigan. Liz has been coaching volleyball for 20 years. This will be her 3rd season as the Lady Canes’ head coach.
