Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School is pleased to announce School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger as our new uniform partner for the 2026/2027 school year.
Families may recognize School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger as the same company used for Bishop’s House shirts in 2025/26. We are excited to expand this partnership to support a more consistent uniform for our school community.

2026/2027 Uniform Expectations
All new students and transfer students will be required to purchase and wear the new uniforms for the 2026/2027 school year.
In recognition of the investment families have made in existing uniforms, the 2026/2027 school year will be a transition year for current Bishop students. Current Bishop students will be expected to move into the new uniforms for the 2027/2028 school year.
During the transition year, current students may continue wearing currently approved uniform pieces as outlined in the student handbook.
Physical Education/Gym Wear
Students enrolled in physical education courses will be expected to wear Bishop-approved gym wear for class. Spirit wear shirts and shorts are not considered a substitute for approved gym wear unless specifically permitted by the school.
Spirit Wear
Bishop spirit wear will continue to be available through the BMCHS Spirit Wear Store and may be worn as outlined in the student handbook.

What are the new uniform expectations?
Daily uniform: Navy polo (Bishop logo) and Khaki Pants or shorts (Bishop “B” logo)
Mass Day Uniform: White oxford button down (BMCHS Crest), Khaki Pants (Bishop “B” logo), V-neck sweater or cardigan, optional
Physical Education: Bishop-approved PE shorts, Bishop-approved PE T-shirt

Are skirts allowed during the transition year?
No. Skirts will not be permitted for the 2026/2027 school year, regardless of whether a student is wearing the current uniform or the new uniform. Approved pants and shorts should be worn as outlined in Bishop’s uniform expectations.
Will used uniforms be available?
Yes. Bishop will have a limited selection of used uniform inventory available at a discounted price for families of current students who choose to maintain the existing uniform during the transition year.
This includes inventory purchased from Risse Brothers. Additional details about availability and how families can access those items will be managed by the Parents Group.
How many uniforms pieces should families consider ordering?
Families should make the decision that works best for their student and household. As a general planning guide, families may want to consider:
- 3-5 daily uniform polos
- 2-3 pairs of khaki pants or shorts
- 1 Mass Day oxford shirt
- 1 optional sweater or cardigan for Mass days or cooler weather
- 1-2 PE uniform sets if the student is enrolled in physical education
This is only a suggested starting point. Families may choose more or fewer items based on laundry routine, student schedule, and personal preference.
What is the standard delivery turnaround time?
Families should refer to School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger for the most current order processing and delivery timing.
The uniform store is opening now to give families sufficient time to order before the start of the new school year. Based on the ordering timeline provided by School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger, families should have adequate time to receive items before school begins if orders are placed in a timely manner.
What should families do if uniforms do not arrive in time?
Families are encouraged to order early to allow time for processing, delivery, and any needed size exchanges.
If a required uniform order does not arrive before the start of school, families should contact Bishop for guidance. Bishop will provide reasonable direction for students whose approved uniform orders are delayed.
Will there be an in-person uniform sale?
No. There will not be an in-person uniform sale.
Families will order through the online uniform store. School Uniforms by Tommy Hilfiger provides an online sizing tool to help families select sizes, and items may be returned or exchanged if the size does not fit properly.
Are the approved pants for both male and female students?
Yes. The approved pants are a co-ed uniform option for all students. Families should use the online sizing tool and size chart to select the best fit for their student.
Will there be a different Mass uniform?
Yes. The new Mass uniform will include a button-down shirt with the school crest.

What outerwear can students wear during the school day?

Are there senior-specific uniform options?
No. There will not be senior-specific uniform options.
